Oostpoort Delft! Eastern gate Delft!
De Oostpoort is de enig overgebleven stadspoort van de
stad Delft. De poort werd rond 1400 gebouwd.
De torens werden in de 16e verhoogd. De Oostpoort
bestaat uit een landpoort en een waterpoort die met
elkaar zijn verbonden door resten van een stadsmuur.
Tegenwoordig is het gebouw in gebruik als
woning en kunstgalerij.
The East Gate is the only
remaining gate of Delft.
The gate was built around 1400.
The towers were raised in the 16th.
The East Gate consists of a land port and a water gate
which is connected by remnants of a city wall.
Today, the building is being used as
house and art gallery.

A flower shop and an old water well!
Flower shop in my home town last summer!
Last year they found by repair work an old water
well dating back to 1640. The water well is restored and
a glass plate has been made to see the old
well.
