The tulip vase is a vase which is made for cut flowers and especially for tulips.
In the 17th century the ceramic vases came from Delft and
Chinese decorated. Tulips vases were counterfeited in China and
imported by the East India Company. Tulips flower vases were then
called Flower holders or Pyramids. They were like jewels on the table,
even without flowers. Only a century later, people spoke of tulip vases.
