Bad Essen, Germany!

The town of Bad Essen is on the North German Plains, because of the transition of the low mountain range to the plains. The Wiehengebirge Range covers approximately the southern third of the town and reaches an altitude of 211m above sea level. The highest point of the Wiehengebirge Range is on the black Brink in Lintorf. The northern part of the town is flat, with an average altitude of 50m above sea level. The Hunte flows through the eastern part of Bad Essen northwards and crosses the Midland Canal in Wittlage.

Nice little town to stay a few days and
to make long walks along the countryside

City center!
We have stayed here some days a few years ago.

This was very relaxing!

Bad Bentheim is a town in Lower Saxony, Germany lying in the district of Grafschaft Bentheim on the borders with North Rhine-Westphalia and the Netherlands roughly 15 km south of Nordhorn and 20 km northeast of Enschede. It is also a state-recognized thermal brine and sulphur spa town, hence the designation Bad (“Bath”). In Bad Bentheim is also found the Burg Bentheim (castle), the town’s emblem.

Hohes Schloss in Füssen!

Last summer on our way to Italy, we have stayed in Füssen.

Hohes Schloss, Bavaria
A monumental castle.
Nice shops and good restaurants,
In the neighbourhood of the famous castles
Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau,
5 km of the Austrian border.
